Torneo de Morelia/Linares 2008

13ª Ronda : Linares, 6-3-2008



Como se esperaba, el campeón del mundo Vishy Anand ha dado un gran paso para adjudicarse "merecidamente" la XXV edición del torneo linarense.


Hoy hizo tablas cortas contra Ivanchuk. Por otro lado, Magnus Carlsen (con negras) tampoco pasó del empate contra Levon Aronian, aunque esta partida ya fue mucho más emocionante.


El único de los de arriba que, a falta de una ronda, logró acercarse en la clasificación a un punto de Anand, fue Veselin Topalov que hoy venció al siempre correoso Peter Leko.


Radjabov hizo lo propio con Shirov al que deja en la cola del torneo, cuando antes de empezar la fase de Linares, se encontraba en una segunda y expléndida posición.


Por lo tanto, mañana en la décimocuarta ronda tendremos un duelo en la cumbre con una partida entre Anand (con blancas) vs Topalov. Carlsen (blancas) se las verá con Radjabov. Y Leko (también blancas) con Aronian.


Si Anand hace como mínimo tablas, él será el brillante ganador. Si por el contrario, a Topalov se le ocurriera liarla y ganarle al hindú en plan Fischer (!?), entonces dependería de lo que ocurriese en el duelo del joven Carlsen y del armenio Aronian.


Por lo tanto llegamos a la última ronda con emoción.


Permítanme ahora que fantasee un poco y como no me gusta contradecir a mis principios (comentados en estas crónicas al comienzo del torneo), me voy a mojar y pronostico lo siguiente para la última ronda, que será un día de encarnizada lucha con mucho instinto asesino entre todos los participantes:


Anand-Topalov: 0-1.

Carlsen-Radjabov: 1/2-1/2.

Leko-Aronian: 1/2-1/2.


Con ello lograríamos un triple empate en cabeza entre Topalov (lo pongo primero por motivos obvios - !?), Anand y Carlsen.
