9ª Ronda : Linares, 29-2-2008
¡Ohh! . Qué tarde/noche de ajedrez !!.
Comencé viendo la partida entre Aronian y Anand. Vishy llevó muy bien la partida controlando excelentemente la idea de apertura que ayer puso en práctica Radjabov contra Leko. Al final, tablas merecidas en 27. Se puede ver en los comentarios algún análisis interesante de Rybka.
Pasé seguidamente a la otra partida en la cumbre, la que disputaban el Mozart del ajedrez, Magnus Carlsen, frente al Leonardo da Vinci, Alexei Shirov. ¡Qué partida!. Ya me llevó seguirla toda la sesión, con más de siete horas de juego. Al final, el joven jugador noruego nos dio un recital de lo que significa el "tesón". En una posición de esas que todos sabemos que aunque haya una ligera ventaja son tablas, supo presionar a su rival, apurándolo de tiempo. Al final, Shirov, agobiado por el reloj cometió un error de principiante y perdió. ¡Lamentable!. Pero lo cierto es que viendo en directo la partida, nos dimos cuenta lo que significa hoy en día llamarse Carlsen. ¡Un espíritu de lucha encomiable! que me recordó un montón al del mejor Bobby Fischer. Se demuestra de este modo que los jugadores por muy buenos que sean, son humanos y el factor suerte también suele decidir los encuentros, para quien la busca con ahínco.
De cualquier forma y según Rybka, en una enmarañada posición que surgió tras la jugada nº 29 de Shirov, Carlsen pudo haber rematado a su rival si hubiera jugado de otro modo. Pero en la práctica real, acertar con antelación diez jugadas vista, resultaba algo tremendamente complicado… .
Rybka hizo lo que pudo para desentrañar algunos de los secretos ocultos que en esta partida se produjeron. Habrá que esperar ahora al análisis de los protagonistas… .
No puedo decir mucho más, salvo que Topalov hizo tablas con Radjabov y que Ivanchuk (vengando la severa derrota de ayer contra Magnus) se impuso con negras a un desdibujado Peter Leko.
En fin, lo dicho. ¡Viva el ajedrez! y a todos los jugadores noveles que empiezan les animo a pensar mucho más de lo que lo hacen en sus partidas. ¡Si buscan, encuentran!.
